The history of Killarney begins in 1906, when the Alberta Land Titles Office registered the first subdivision plan. The area was annexed in 1910. Killarney real estate development prior to World War II was slow, resulting in a scattered number of stucco bungalows and clapboard structures. After the war, building started to boom and a number of homes were built on 25 and 50 foot wide lots. Present-day developers are utilizing these large lots to support new infill homes that replace older structures with low-to-medium-density housing.Contact Lina Horner to find out more about Killarney real estate.
