Moving can be overwhelming; there’s no doubt about it. Packing, cleaning, labeling, more packing, more cleaning – it never seems to end! The best way to avoid moving-related stress is to be prepared; make a list, check it off as you get things done, and you’ll be done everything before you know it.

Here are eight of our most handy moving tips:
PURGE: Before you start packing, make two piles in each room; one for donating, and one for trashing. As soon as you’re done, get rid of anything you’re not keeping accordingly. If you want to sell some of your items, post photos and information on Kijiji, or arrange a garage sale.
