Lina's Personal History
I grew up in Grande Cache, a little town about 200 kilometres northwest of Jasper, AB. I moved to Calgary in 1995 where I attended the University of Calgary, earning a Bachelor of Arts. In 1998, I joined the Royal Bank as a student, but stayed on well past graduation. During the eight years I worked with the Royal Bank, I spent the last four as a mortgage specialist.
As a Royal Bank Mortgage Specialist, I received in-depth training about the art of financing and real estate in general. Soon, I developed a passion for the Calgary real estate industry. I believe real estate is an exciting and dynamic world that demands the best of its members. I believe you must have both passion and drive to carve out a successful career.
In September 2006, I left RBC to invest in real estate full time with Calgary RE/MAX and allow myself the opportunity to travel. In between investments, I managed to travel to Indonesia, Japan and Europe. I spent the spring/summer of 2007 in Alkmaar, North Holland, a beautiful little city 40 kms northwest of Amsterdam.
I love Calgary both for its bustle and its proximity to escape into the outdoors. I also enjoy being close to family and friends.
What are my extra curricular activities? In the summer of 2008 I participated in the Calgary Dragon Boat Races as a member of Jacob's Wishmaker's the team supporting Children's Wish Foundation. I am also a member of the Calgary Millennium Rotary Club an organization that fundraises and volunteers year round supporting both local and international charities.
Janel's Personal History
With almost a decade in the Real Estate industry, Janel has earned a reputation for her expert negotiation skills, market knowledge and exceptional customer service.
It’s all about you as Janel offers unparalleled value and service with integrity. As a fulltime Realtor in the city of Calgary, Janel has extensive knowledge in both Single Family and Multi Family homes.
Beginning her career with a new home builder, Janel focused on single family homes and gained experience in new home construction including cost estimates, new home warranty programs and contract writing.
Later, Janel increased her real estate expertise while working with a Calgary developer in the Multi-Family market and she was recently awarded a Certified Condominium Specialist from the Calgary Real Estate Board.
Having attended the University of Prince Edward Island and more recently, the University of Calgary, Janel is constantly upgrading her skills and knowledge base to better serve her clients. With a personal interest in marketing and a Visual Communications graduate from Holland College, Janel is more than competent in the marketing of your home.
